By breaking into friends' houses and stealing pillows, blankets and comforters to build a seven-room fort in his basement. That's how.

A taco-neck-inducing slice of sonic sensation, "Imagination" is this 4th St soldier's melodic melodic message to those in need of mental stimulation.

ALLiTiZ - "My Speakers" Music Video

We went three years and five mixtapes without dropping a single music video. Now, for the second time in less than two weeks, I'm letting loose of a new viral visual from 4th St Beats' lead artist ALLiTiZ. This go round, though, instead of Oprah out-takes and half-nude moonwalking on behalf of a two-year-old, side-eye-inducing speciality song, Royal Oak's most well-rounded artist delivers a delectable jam specifically for your stereo.

Literally.

The first single from Just Be Yoursel4, "My Speakers" is a bass-heavy banger dedicated to the sound systems providing the artists who amplify our everyday outlook on life. On the directorial tip, Young Nep delivers the Fire4Hire Productions treatment, with this detailed and home-grown video that shows how - despite being different from one another on paper - everyone has at least one thing in common when it comes time to press play.

Help Wanted: JBY Cover

Like I said yesterday, the next project coming out of my 4th St Camp is ALLiTiZ' 2-years-in-the-waiting street album, Just B Yoursel4 (Yeah, we like the '4' instead of the 'f' better, too). Considering the time between releases - his last legitimate offering was Get Broke on Dec 23, 2008 - an overhaul on the sound and iZ's own personal life were welcome. Owing it to ourselves - as well as all of our old and upcoming fans - to make this LP as good as possible, we're willing to make precautionary changes along the way to ensure the final product is worthy of your liking.

That said, we're wondering what you think of this potential cover for JBY. We have our own opinions, but...before I sway anyone's opinion, I'd like to see what our target audience thinks.

Is it universal enough?

As you may or may not have noticed, me (BEWARE), ALLiTiZ and the rest of my 4th St faction are going adamantium-hard for 2011. Rock Steady, like the Whispers people. What you know about it?

To everyone who's been down with us since day four, this is what you've been waiting on. To everyone who's new to the group, grab some comfy kicks and more than a couple packs for the road, because this is about to be quite a journey. More than a feeling, if you catch my drift. Yup, we finally got our sh!t together. No more broken promises people, just tons of brand-new music, a regularly-updated website and blog, full-blown music production company, plenty of tax write-offs, killer collabos and everything else you never thought we could do. Three albums this year, we promise. It'll be 2008, all over again. But with 10x better music, as our craft continually gets conquered by the millisecond. First will be ALLiTiZ' long-overdue street debut Just Be Yourself, come mid-March or sooner.
